Our solutions
The SmartDate® X45 thermal transfer overprinter (TTO) features a 10.1” color user interface that simplifies tracking OEE data by providing access to your five most important production metrics from the home screen. The color user interface is simple to navigate and learn while animated help tutorials make set-up and daily maintenance easy, minimizing downtime. It keeps maintenance costs low thanks to a direct ribbon drive and cassette design that feature no-wear parts, and it can code multiple lines at once, making it ideal for printing text, logos and even barcodes.
Key benefits
The SmartDate X45’s print speed can be set from 30 mm to 600 mm per second, allowing for 220 printed packs per minute at 300 dpi. Our thermal transfer overprinter (TTO) can be adapted to your production line, offering intermittent or continuous configurations and a choice of printheads and ribbon rolls. In addition to its dead-dot detection system, the optional SmartDate® Detect-Plus system can check and confirm the presence, position and quality of the code on every produced pack, preventing costly recalls and protecting your brand integrity.
