In 2020, we completed a materiality assessment to identify and prioritize risks and opportunities linked to sustainability topics. This will allow us to meet the expectations of customers, investors, suppliers, and employees among others, both now and for the future. Watch this space for more to come!

Our vision is directly linked with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to achieve a better sustainable future for all.
The SDGs explicitly call on all businesses to apply their creativity and innovation to solving sustainable development challenges.
In focusing our efforts, we are constantly revisiting our corporate social responsibility (CSR) to drive growth and innovation sustainably while reducing risk, and fostering transparency and trust.
We do this in many ways, including through external auditors such as Sedex and Ecovadis.
The Bourg-les-Valence manufacturing site has been awarded, for the third consecutive time, a Gold Medal and maintained its high score. This demonstrates and confirms its maturity level on CSR. MI Industries has been ranked in the top 5% of all companies assessed and in the top 1% of the industry.
We are aiming just as high for our other manufacturing sites globally.
Markem-Imaje China Co Ltd has successfully achieved its first assessment and was awarded a Silver Medal. MI China is in the top 11% of companies rated by EcoVadis within our industry category.
In July 2022, Markem-Imaje US, Keene, achieved the Ecovadis Gold rating, for the second year in a row, demonstrating our continued strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
This recognition is a tribute to our dedicated teams who integrate sustainability into our everyday operations and business model.
Markem-Imaje India has been awarded an EcoVadis Silver Medal for its ESG performance.
This award acknowledges MI’s dedication to protecting the environment, maintaining high standards in employee health and safety and ensuring ethical behavior and human rights.
